Brăila

Brăila County is an administrative county in southeastern Romania, located along the lower course of the Danube. Its county seat is the city of Brăila. The county plays an important role in river transport and agriculture. Its landscape is mostly lowland, shaped by the Danube and the Bărăgan Plain area. The county also includes important natural protected areas and wetland habitats.
