Tyyhlash
Tyyhlash is a village in Zakarpattia Oblast in western Ukraine, within Uzhhorod Raion. It is located near Uzhhorod in the lowland part of the oblast. The settlement is known in Hungarian as Tiszaágtelek. Historically, the area is connected with the legacy of Ung County. The village has the rural appearance typical of settlements in the Zakarpattia plain. Its surroundings include agricultural land and other small settlements. The nearby district center is Uzhhorod, the most important city in the area. Both Hungarian and Ukrainian forms of the place name are used in the region’s multilingual environment. The village remains a recorded inhabited locality in the current administrative system of Ukraine. Tyyhlash is part of the multiethnic settlement landscape of Zakarpattia.
