Turi Remety
Turi Remety is a village in western Ukraine, in Zakarpattia Oblast, within Uzhhorod Raion. It is located in the valley of the Turya River in the Perechyn area. Its name and position are closely tied to the chain of settlements along the Turya valley. The village lies in a foothill setting near forests and watercourses. Historically, it forms part of the region’s multiethnic and multiconfessional heritage. The settlement has a traditional rural character, with local farming and community institutions. Nearby Perechyn serves as an important service and transport centre for the area. The landscape shows the typical appearance of hill and mountain-edge villages in Zakarpattia.
