Tarnovtsi

Tarnovtsi is a village in Zakarpattia Oblast, Ukraine, located in Uzhhorod Raion. It stands in the lowland part of the district near Uzhhorod. It is a small rural settlement whose present character is defined mainly by housing and its agricultural surroundings. The village is linked by road to neighboring settlements and to the district center. The cultural landscape of the area reflects multiethnic traditions. Tarnovtsi is one of the locally significant settlements in the Transcarpathian settlement network. The surrounding landscape is characterized by arable land and flat relief. The settlement is inhabited today and is administratively part of Ukraine.
