Rativtsi

Rativtsi is a village in Zakarpattia Oblast, Ukraine, in Uzhhorod Raion, south of Uzhhorod. The settlement historically belonged to Ung County and remains one of the known localities with a well-established Hungarian place-name in Transcarpathia. Its population is multiethnic, reflecting the wider region where Ukrainian, Hungarian, and other local communities live alongside one another. The village lies in the lowland part of the region, relatively close to the Hungarian border and to important local transport routes. Its surroundings are shaped by agricultural land and a network of smaller settlements.
