Pui
Pui is a commune in Hunedoara County, Romania, situated in the eastern part of the Hațeg Depression. It lies along an important local transport axis in the southern part of the county. Administratively, the commune includes several villages. Its territory stands in the contact zone between Hațeg Country and the Strei Valley. The surrounding area is marked by agricultural land, rural settlements, and valleys opening toward the mountains. One of the key routes toward the Retezat Mountains passes near Pui, which gives the commune a role in access to mountain tourism areas.
