Petrila
Petrila is a town in Hunedoara County, Romania, in the eastern part of the Jiu Valley. It lies next to Petroșani and is one of the traditional mining towns of the valley. Its history was closely connected to coal extraction and the industrial infrastructure built around it. It continues to hold the status of a town.
