Kamianytsia
Kamianytsia is a village in Zakarpattia Oblast, Ukraine, located in Uzhhorod Raion. It lies east of Uzhhorod in the wider valley area of the Uzh River. The settlement stands in a hilly foothill landscape at the edge of the Carpathian region. Today it functions as a rural locality in the western part of the oblast. Its population reflects the multiethnic character typical of this part of Transcarpathia. Local connections in administration, transport, and services are centered mainly on nearby Uzhhorod. The surrounding natural setting makes the village part of a broader area used for excursions into the nearby hills and mountains.
