Antalovtsi
Antalovtsi is a village in Zakarpattia Oblast in western Ukraine, within Uzhhorod Raion. It is situated in the transitional hilly and wooded zone east of Uzhhorod. The natural setting differs from the lowland villages of the district, as forests and rising terrain are more prominent here. Local life is shaped by a rural residential environment, smaller-scale agriculture, and ties to nearby service centers. The Hungarian historical name of the settlement is Antalóc. The village forms part of the multiethnic heritage of Zakarpattia, where changing historical periods affected administration and place-name usage. Today it belongs to the administrative structure of Uzhhorod Raion. Because of its natural conditions, the surrounding landscape is more varied than in the plain areas. It is primarily a settlement of local significance, with its regional connections strengthened by proximity to the district center.
